1st Parkstone Cub Pack

The Cub Section is the third section of the Scouting movement for young people aged 8-10½ years.

When We Meet

🟣 Mondays
6:30pm – 8:00pm

Cubs have endless opportunities to get involved and enjoy a wide range of exciting activities. During the warmer months, we make the most of Delph Woods, which provides the perfect setting for outdoor adventures. Cubs learn valuable skills such as camping, campfire cooking, and fire lighting, while also taking part in activities including archery, golf, hiking, swimming, and fundraising events.

Throughout the summer, we usually run camps that involve two nights away, giving Cubs the chance to develop independence, teamwork, and confidence. There are also plenty of badges to earn, making every achievement rewarding and helping Cubs build self-belief, pride, and a sense of accomplishment as they complete new challenges.

When the colder, wetter weather arrives, our activities move indoors. The fun certainly doesn’t stop there. We continue to enjoy a variety of games, challenges, and badge work, including activities that are better suited to an indoor environment.

If you would like your child to join our Pack or have any questions, we’d love to hear from you. We are also always looking for parents and volunteers to help support our meetings, activities, and events. Whether you can spare a little time as an occasional helper or are interested in becoming a Leader, your support would be greatly appreciated. To find out more, please get in touch online or speak to David or Steffan.
