You can become a Scout from age 10 and stay until you’re 14, before moving on to the next exciting stage with Explorer Scouts. Our Scout section is led by our Section Lead, supported by a team of Assistant Section Leaders and Section Assistants. Together, they make sure every meeting is packed with fun, challenge, and adventure.
At 1st Parkstone Scout Group, we believe Scouting is all about fun, friendship, and unforgettable experiences. Every young person in our group gets the chance to dive into an exciting programme packed with activities—from classic Scouting skills like camping, survival, and outdoor cooking to thrilling adventures such as caving, expeditions, archery, shooting, and kayaking.
As an Air Scout unit, some of the programme is based around air activity’s too which is unique to normal scouting. It’s just one of the ways we make Scouting at Parkstone extra special!
Most of our Scouts move up from Cubs, but new members are always welcome! Simply visit our Join page and send us your details, we’d love to hear from you.
Scouting isn’t just for young people, it’s a family! Parents can get involved too, whether by helping at activities or supporting behind the scenes. Everyone is welcome to join the 1st Parkstone Scouting family. To check for availability, please go to the Join page and send us your details
