Scouts take over the RAF Museum London
Scouts took part in a fantastic national event at the RAF Museum London, where they opened the museum exclusively for Scouts across the UK. The day was all about adventure and discovery, giving young people the chance to take over the site while working towards their staged Air Activities badges.
Fifteen of our Scouts travelled to London and spent the day completing elements of their Level 2 badge, while also looking ahead to the challenges required for Levels 3–5. Surrounded by incredible aircraft and aviation history, it was the perfect setting to bring their learning to life.
Alongside the activities, Scouts (and volunteers!) also had the opportunity to explore the RAF Museum itself – discovering everything from historic planes to the stories of those who shaped aviation. It made for an inspiring and memorable day, combining hands-on badge work with a unique behind-the-scenes Scouting experience.
